The Holdovers: A Short Story
Derek Carter and his parents are moving to the country. A new life awaits them away from the bustle of the big city that they've known all their lives. The farmhouse they've purchased represents the only structure for miles of endless, bedraggled farmland. But they will quickly find that they're hardly alone within their newfound rural isolation.
There's a storm bubbling on the horizon and embedded within it is an evil that descends upon the Carter family farm. Derek and his parents will be forced to face the unimaginable horror that rides in its wake as it explodes throughout every corner of their property. When the electric nightmare comes, it's already too late.
